Abstract
El paisaje es un sistema complejo, de interés ecológico, ambiental, social y cultural, que se estructura por la interacción entre la naturaleza y la sociedad. Se analiza el paisaje de renovales de Roble-Raulí-Coigüe de la comuna de Lanco, mediante el estudio de componentes territoriales (topografía, geomorfología y vegetación) y el establecimiento de un vector de valoración del paisaje. La metodología incluye el establecimiento de unidades homogéneas, a partir de variables físicas y productivas, mediante el análisis de componentes principales. Una vez definidas las unidades homogéneas, se analiza para cada una de ellas el comportamiento de las variables de producción y variables del entorno. Se calculan para las especies árboreas índices de biodiversidad relacionados con la composición tales como Shannon, Margaleff, Menhinick y Berger-Parker, y relacionados con la estructura del bosque; para el caso de la estructura vertical se consideró el índice de Shannon; para la estructura horizontal se usa la desviación típica del diámetro. Además se determinan indicadores que se relacionan con la fragmentación y estructura espacial de las unidades homogéneas. A partir de esta información se construye un vector de valoración del paisaje que incluye valores de producción y biodiversidad, por medio de análisis de componentes del paisaje. A través de técnicas blandas de análisis decisional se obtiene la relación de preferencia de las muestras. Finalmente se entrega una valoración del paisaje de bosques de renovales para el caso descrito.
