SINA (sistem informasi akademik Unis Tangerang) adalah suatu Sistem Informasi Akademik yang dibangun untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada pengguna dalam kegiatan administrasi akademik perkuliahan secara online di lingkungan Unis Tangerang, seperti proses Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB), pembuatan jadwal kuliah, pengisian Kartu Rencana Studi (KRS), pengisian nilai, perwalian, pengelolaan data dosen & mahasiswa. Sistem ini juga dapat berfungsi sebagai pendukung untuk analisis data dalam menentukan keputusan Kampus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana Peran Website Sistem Informasi Akademik Dalam Memenuhi Kebutuhan Informasi Mahasiswa. Teori yang peneliti gunakan adalah Teknologi Informasi yang dimana teknologi informasi sebagai media pendidikan dilakukan dengan media-media komunikasi. Paradigma yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma konstruktivisme. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran wesite sina UNIS Tangerang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mahasiswa sudah terlaksana dengan baik, hanya saja masih ada beberapa kendala. Namun, kendala yang terjadi masih bisa diatasi. Kata kunci : Teknologi Informasi, Website SINA UNIS Tangerang
