Abstract
캐나다 지역을 중심으로 생산되고 있는 오일샌드의 개발에 있어서, 비튜멘 추출 공정, 지상 Upgrading 공정등으로 이루어진 단위공정을 최적화하고, 생산정에 투입되는 원료와 회수정에서 생산되는 제품 등에 대한 물질·에너지 흐름을 최적화하기 위한 통합공정 설계 및 패키지화 기술에 대한 연구이며, 새로운 지역의 실증플랜트를 건설하기 위한 개념설계 단계의 연구이다. 오일샌드 통합 공정 설계/운영 기술은 기존 중동중심의 오일가스 플랜트 기술 경향을 다각화 할 수 있는 기술로서, 분자량이 높은 탄화수소의 추출생산기술과 수송가능 수준의 Partial Upgrading 기술, 그리고 현장의 원료, 유틸리티의 연계 공정에 대한 고효율 최적화 기술이 필요하다. 오일샌드 통합 공정 설계 및 운영 기술은 플랜트 설치의 Track Record로 향후 기업들의 극한지 지역 수주 참여에 도움이 될 수 있다.
