O presente trabalho versou sobre a avaliacao na educacao a distância. O objetivo foi investigar como se da o processo avaliativo na educacao a distância no Curso de Pedagogia da UEPA/UAB – Polo Cameta. A pesquisa realizada foi qualitativa, com procedimento tecnico do Estudo de Caso, cujos instrumentos de coleta de dados utilizados foram os questionarios elaborados no recurso digital Google Forms , incluindo perguntas de multipla escolha e tambem respostas longas e curtas, aplicados a 02 tutores e 20 alunos do Curso, alem de entrevista semiestruturada com um tutor e um aluno. Na analise dos dados, foram exploradas as respostas dos sujeitos e a plataforma utilizada pelo tutor para avaliar, comunicar e monitorar os alunos nas atividades. O estudo chamou a atencao no que diz respeito a utilizacao das plataformas e de outros recursos online, que servem para avaliar, contudo, os resultados gerais, apesar de diversas interfaces de registro disponiveis, tais como: chat, foruns, Moodle (importantes para a interacao, comunicacao e avaliacao na educacao a distância em tempo real) ainda sao poucos utilizados, seja pelo precario acesso a internet ou pela necessidade dos textos escritos, tanto na forma presencial como aqueles postados na plataforma, esta que e uma interface assincrona, ou seja, nao precisa que o tutor e o aluno estejam conectados em tempo real.
