Abstract
Au-delà de la pratique et de ses méthodes, la traduction est un concept qu’il est nécessaire de penser de manière synthétique au carrefour de ses diverses manifestations concrètes. En effet, la traductologie étant la discipline qui s’est intéressée dans les trente dernières années à l’étude des phénomènes du traduire en contexte (tournants culturel et sociologique), il reste pour celle-ci de développer une pensée qui réfléchit désormais le concept même de traduction. Derrière l’objectif que s’est fixé Berman pour la traductologie : « la réflexion de la traduction sur elle-même à partir de sa nature d’expérience » (1999 : 17), on peut distinguer l’horizon philosophique d’une traductologie qui se donne également comme une expérience de pensée plus abstraite qui met en perspective les spécificités de l’action traductive : le mouvement et la transformation qui la caractérisent ainsi que les paradoxes et les ambiguïtés qui en complexifient la compréhension.
