Abstract
De acuerdo con la Carta de Ottawa (1986): La salud se crea y se vive en el marco de la vida cotidiana en los centros de ensenanza, de trabajo y de recreo, sin embargo en Mexico a pesar de los esfuerzos e intentos de la politica educativa por lograr alcanzar situaciones de aprendizaje en condiciones de salud de los educandos, en ocasiones no se consideran ambientes a los que se someten tanto alumnos como docentes para el desarrollo de sus actividades academicas. Esta investigacion plantea retomar la iniciativa de condiciones favorables a la preservacion de la salud de los participantes en una comunidad escolar desde el punto de vista de la seguridad e higiene y desde la conservacion y mantenimiento de la infraestructura fisica de las instituciones educativas. Para ello se plantea un estudio de caso en el que se analicen las condiciones de iluminacion, ruido y ergonomicas, comparandolas con lo establecido en la legislacion nacional, verificando con ello el grado de preservacion o posible dano a la salud.
