Ocorreram diversas mudancas de paradigma no conceito sobre a Educacao Especial no Brasil que se pode notar a partir das politicas publicas praticadas ao longo da historia. Atualmente, a Educacao Especial se da a partir da Perspectiva Inclusiva. Este trabalho teve como objetivo identificar as concepcoes dos professores, das escolas de Ensino Fundamental, sobre a inclusao e o ensino/aprendizagem de estudantes com deficiencia auditiva matriculados nas classes comuns. Utilizou-se um questionario com 24 professores, que trabalham na Diretoria Regional de Ensino do Ipiranga da Rede Municipal de Ensino da Cidade de Sao Paulo, onde havia treze perguntas abertas e fechadas, analisadas a partir da abordagem qualitativa.  Apos a compilacao das respostas criou-se as seguintes categorias para discussao: perfil dos participantes, entendimento sobre educacao de estudantes com deficiencia auditiva, conhecimentos sobre LIBRAS e Ensino Bilingue e concepcoes sobre educacao inclusiva. Constatou-se que apesar da maioria, 66,7% dos professores, afirmarem que ja tiveram aluno com deficiencia auditiva e surdez, apenas um dos entrevistados se declarou apto para atender as especificidades deste publico. Em consequencia, 91,7% dos professores entrevistados disseram que os estudantes com deficiencia auditiva deveriam frequentar as escolas bilingues por oferecer maiores oportunidades de aprendizagem que as escolas comuns. No entendimento destes professores, verificou-se que as barreiras de comunicacao e atitudinal sao as principais dificuldades que os estudantes com deficiencia auditiva encontram nas escolas comuns. Desse modo, quando os participantes da pesquisa foram questionados, se acreditavam que suas escolas eram inclusivas, apenas seis responderam que sim.
