Dans un contexte de formation universitaire de futurs enseignants au baccalaurat en enseignement secondaire qubcois, comment la pense critique peut-elle tre dveloppe chez les lves de 14 16 ans, dont ils seront bientt responsables dans le cadre du cours d'histoire du Qubec et du Canada ? Comment les fondements disciplinaires et les possibilits didactiques de cette histoire peuvent-ils tre aliments ou encore nourrir eux-mmes le dveloppement de la pense critique ? De plus, l'histoire est une discipline hermneutique. Or, celui ou celle qui s'interroge sur le pass le fait partir de son inscription dans le prsent. Ainsi, quelle tradition interprtative notre enseignement de l'histoire renvoie-t-il ?
