Abstract
El estudio se realizo en el centro de practicas San Isidro Labrador de la Universidad Nacional Agraria Sede Regional Camoapa; su objetivo fue evaluar la sustitucion parcial de concentrado por forraje verde hidroponico (FVH) a base de Zeamays en pollos de engorde, se utilizo un diseno completamente aleatorio (DCA). El tamano de la muestra fue de 60pollos de la LINEA COBB 500distribuidos en tres grupos de 20, con un ciclo productivo de 49dias. Se consideraron 3 tratamientos: sustitucion del 30% de concentrado comercial purina por FVH (TI), sustitucion de 40 % de concentrado comercial purina por FVH (TII)y sustitucion de 50 % de concentrado comercial purina por FVH (TIII)suministrado a partir dela segunda semana dia 8. Las variables medidas fueron: consumo de alimento, ganancia media diaria (GMD), conversion alimenticia y eficiencia economica. El consumo de alimento fue una contabilizacion del suministro menos el desperdicio, la GMD y conversion alimenticia de las aves se evaluo por analisis de varianza y prueba de separacion de medias atraves del programa (INFOSTAT/L), la eficiencia economica a traves del Indice Ingalls –Ortiz (IOR). El consumo de concentrado promedio por ave durante el ciclo de produccion fue de 3.93 kgen el TI, 3.56kgen el TII y 2.95kg en el III respectivamente; en el caso de FVH, se alcanzo un consumo de 1.03kg por ave en el T1,1.33 kg por ave en el TII y 1.82 kg por ave en el TIII. La GMD fue de 0.0494kg TI, 0.0447kg TII y 0.0393kg TIII con diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos (p 0.05) siendo de 1.24 kg en el TI; 1.40 kg en el TII y 1.64kg en el TIII. La eficiencia economica fue de 0.92, 0.81 y0.80para los tratamientos I, II y III respectivamente, se obtuvo que los costos son mayores que los ingresos generando perdidas por cada Cordoba invertido indicando en esta alternativa de alimentacion que la actividad economica de este estudio no fue rentable.
