يتمثل الهدف الرئيس من مراجعة الأدبيات المقدمة بالحث الحالي(Alsedrani, 2018)في تقديم لمحة عامة عن نهج ريجو إيميليا، والأحداث التي سبقت تطوره، ومبادئه الأساسية، وأطره النظرية (النظرية البنائية الاجتماعية ومنظور مجتمع التعاون)، إضافة إلى ذلک، تمت مراجعة العديد من تطبيقات نهج ريجيو إميليا في بلدان مختلفة مثل الولايات المتحدة وکندا والصين وجنوب إفريقيا وأخيراً الکويت، ولقد تناولت الأدبيات کل دولة من الدول المذکورة، کما تمت مناقشة الأدبيات الخاصة بالصعوبات المتباينة والنجاحات التي واجهها نهج ريجيو إميليا ، کما تم تحليل مزايا ومساوئ ثقافية معينة وصلتها بنجاح أو فشل نهج ريجيو إميليا في هذه البلدان. The purpose of this literature review (Alsedrani, 2018) is to present an overview of the Reggio Emilia approach (REA), the events that preceded its development, its fundamental principles, and its theoretical frameworks (social constructivist theory and the community of collaboration perspective). In addition, several applications of the Reggio Emilia approach in different countries were reviewed such as: the US, Canada, China, South Africa, and finally, Kuwait. In each country, literature about the unique difficulties and successes the REA faced will be discussed. Particular cultural advantages or disadvantages as they relate to the success or failure of the REA in these countries were analyzed.
