Chaque naissance prematuree augmente le risque de developper des troubles de l’oralite chez des bebes qui, la plupart du temps, viennent au monde avec de multiples atteintes (neurologiques, digestives, respiratoires…). Le nouveau-ne premature doit faire face a une medicalisation necessaire mais parfois deletere, d’ou la mise en place de soins de developpement specifiques. L’intervention orthophonique constitue un veritable facteur de protection puisqu’elle vise a reduire les incidences negatives en tentant d’attenuer les possibles repercussions de cette prematurite sur les versants alimentaire et verbal.Par cette etude, nous nous questionnons d’une part sur l’impact que peut avoir une assistance respiratoire precoce sur le developpement de l’oralite. D’autre part, nous cherchons a montrer les effets possibles d’un programme de stimulations olfactives sur l’oralite d’enfants nes prematures et presentant, de surcroit, des troubles respiratoires.Cette revue de litterature a ete effectuee grâce a une recherche documentaire dans des bases de donnees comme Pubmed, Google Scholar et Web of Science. Aussi, nous avons consulte de nombreux ouvrages traitant de la prematurite. Le nombre d’articles s’est revele tres important (plus d’une centaine). Nous avons donc decide de selectionner les plus importants a l’aide de mots cles comme oralite, prematurite, olfaction, troubles respiratoires.
