Abstract
본 연구은 푸코의 지식의 계보학의 개념을 활용하여 아동관, 아동중심주의, 그리고 발달에 적합한 실제와 같은 유아교육사상의 주요 개념들을 되짚어 추적함으로써 유아교육계의 패러다임적 전환을 개관하면서 유아교사교육에 대한 함의를 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 유아교육계의 패러다임 전환은 아동과 교육에 대한 사고과 관점, 논리체계에 영향을 주었으나, 초기 철학자들의 이념적인 근본이 부인되지는 않았다. 근대의 흐름과 함께 유아교육계는 개별 유아에게 집중된 과학적 연구에 기반을 두고 발전하였으며, 이러한 근대적 아동관과 담론들에 내재된 가정들은 포스트모더니즘적 관점에 의해 사회적 형평성과 정의 측면에서 비판되었다. 이를 토대로 본 연구는 사회문화적 맥락보다는 개별유아에 대한 과학적 연구에 의존하는 학계의 역사적 경향성이 있음 주장하며, 현 패러다임의 전환기에 유아교사교육과정에서는 유아와 교육에 대한 사회학적, 정치적, 문화적 관점을 포함하여 유아교육에 대한 넓은 시야을 가질 수 있도록 도울 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.
