Abstract
Nyeri Persalinan adalah suatu perasaan tidak menyenangkan yang merupakan respon individu yang menyertai dalam proses persalinan. Pemberian drip oksitosin dapat menyebabkan peningkatan kontraksi uterus sehingga sensasi nyeri yang dirasakan meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat nyeri ibu bersalin yang diberikan drip oksitosin dengan ibu bersalin yang tidak diberikan drip oksitosin. Studi dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Ujungberung periode Maret-Mei 2015 dan penelitian ini bersifat Observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Data didapatkan dari rekam medis dan chart nyeri McGill, populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh pasien ibu bersalin yang tercantum dalam rekam medis. Data disajikan dalam bentuk diagram dengan distribusi frekuensi. Dari 100 pasien ibu bersalin, 50 diantaranya ibu bersalin yang tidak diberi oksitosin didapatkan tingkat nyeri sedang sebanyak 26 orang (56%), nyeri berat 23 orang (46%), nyeri sangat berat sebanyak 1 orang (2%) dan 50 ibu bersalin yang diberikan drip oksitosin didapatkan tingkat nyeri sedang sebanyak 10 orang (10%), nyeri berat 28 orang (56%), nyeri sangat berat sebanyak 12 orang (24%). Mayoritas kelompok yang diberikan oksitosin mengalami nyeri berat dan pada kelompok yang tidak diberikan drip oksitosin mengalami nyeri sedang.Hasil uji statistik dengan metode mann whitney menunjukan nilai p= 0,000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan Ini berarti menunjukan adanya bahwa pengaruh pemberian oksitosin terbukti bisa mempengaruhi tingkat nyeri pasien ibu yang bersalin.
