Fingolimod 0.5 mg es un modulador de los receptores de la esfingosina-1-fosfato oral, aprobado para el uso de adultos con esclerosis múltiple. La eficacia y seguridad del fingolimod ha sido descrita en grandes programas de desarrollo clínico, en este artículo se informa sobre la seguridad y tolerabilidad del fingolimod en pacientes con reaparición recurrente de la esclerosis múltiple, en América Latina.
