Nous avons eu le privilège de traverser un grand nombre de saisons avec Mony Elkaïm. Une proximité personnelle et professionnelle intense en sol québécois, suivie de moments à distance propices à l’intégration. Étant remués par son départ et inévitablement parties prenantes de ce que nous cherchons à décrire, il demeure excessivement difficile d’isoler les apports spécifiques de Mony à l’évolution de nos pratiques. Un lien marquant, développé au fil du temps. Des rencontres empreintes de chaleur humaine, de curiosité et de mutualité. À la suite de son décès, dans le contexte si particulier des adieux interdits 1 et grâce à la bienveillante initiative des Cahiers Critiques, nous avons transformé nos rencontres d’écriture en un rituel de mémoires partagées. Dans cet article, nous racontons d’abord des petites histoires inédites qui ont touché chacun des membres de notre fratrie professionnelle. Puis, nous cherchons ensemble à identifier quelques apports spécifiques à l’évolution de notre compréhension clinique et de nos pratiques.
