Abstract
Orientacao: Nadja da Silva Oliveira Palavras-chave: Planejamento, revitalizacao, patrimonio historico e natural Introducao O turismo e atividade que, ao longo dos anos, tem crescido cada vez mais; os turistas buscam um local para relaxar, onde possam usufruir toda a infra-estrutura que lhes e oferecida. A Vila de Paranapiacaba e um exemplo de localidade turistica, proxima a capital paulista, de grande importância para o estado. Com arquitetura marcada pela influencia inglesa, a Vila recebeu a primeira ferrovia do Estado, construida pela companhia inglesa Sao Paulo Railway. E hoje excelente alternativa turistica, porem requer-se que a atividade turistica do local seja realizada de forma ordenada, sem prejuizo para o espaco natural e historico. Objetivos: Elaborar planejamento turistico e plano de revitalizacao para a Vila de Paranapiacaba; Identificar recursos existentes, naturais, historicos, culturais e sociais; Analisar a potencialidade turistica do local, propondo medidas para o fomento do Turismo na regiao. Metodologia: A metodologia inclui a pesquisa exploratoria da Vila de Paranapiacaba e da literatura que trata do assunto investigado. Principais resultados: A investigacao feita revelou que Paranapiacaba nao tem recebido o devido suporte para a realizacao da atividade turistica. Verifica-se a potencialidade turistica do local, sua infra-estrutura basica e turistica existente. Planejando e propondo planos de acao para a melhoria da infra-estrutura, sugerindo cursos para a populacao, propondo parcerias com entidades privadas para adequacao do espaco sera viavel, enfim, que a Vila de Paranapiacaba receba turistas com maior frequencia, tornando assim o turismo uma de suas principais atividades economicas.
