Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The objective of this study is to characterize the lead (Pb) in the surface material of a deposit containing copper mine tailing and blastfurnace slag, as well as in the water and bottom material of an adjacent road ditch. Sampling of the bottom ditch material was made according to the random systematic method. Results show an average concentration of 2 726 mg kg-1, which is largely above level 1 (170 mg kg-1) of the Canadian sediment quality criteria and the Quebec soil quality criteria C (1 000 mg kg-1). Sampling of the tailing deposit was obtained by adapting the simple random method to the site characteristics. Results yield an average Pb concentration of 2543 mg kg1, which is above the Quebec criteria C. The bottom material of the road ditch and the top horizon of the deposit are highly contaminated.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
