Abstract
Este artículo se acerca al problema de la traducción en Haroldo de Campos a través del estudio de su biblioteca y del archivo de Roman Jakobson en el MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), que conserva sus intercambios desde 1966 hasta 1981. La historización de la teoría y de las prácticas de traducción de Haroldo, así como su concepción de la literatura y la cultura, se hace posible a través de la reconstrucción de sus intertextos y de las redes intelectuales de las que participó y del estudio de la correspondencia y la propia biblioteca del autor.
