Dialogos interculturais: teoria e pratica foi uma disciplina ministrada na Universidade Federal do Ceara - campus Sobral e na Universidade Simon Fraser - Canada, como parte da pesquisa e colaboracao artistica para uma cidadania global, liderada pelas professoras Rita Gomes - UFC/Brasil e Susan O'Neill - SFU/Canada. Durante a disciplina, as turmas tiveram quatro encontros por videoconferencia, sendo que, os estudantes foram divididos em grupos de mais ou menos seis membros com integrantes dos dois paises, com o objetivo de produzir um trabalho que foi apresentado no quarto encontro. Em cada um desses encontros os estudantes de ambas as universidades tambem tiveram como atividade fazer um diario de campo sobre a aula. Os diarios foram inicialmente analisados a partir de 12 categorias sendo elas: Comunicacao; colaboracao; criatividade; engajamento; intercultural; tecnologia, processo de pensamento; admiracoes, reflexoes; dando significado; intencionalidade; resolucao de problemas; outros. Sendo assim, o objetivo do presente trabalho e analisar os diarios de campo dos estudantes brasileiros da pesquisa supracitada a partir das 12 categorias escolhidas pelas pesquisadoras e implementadas nos diarios. Como resultados tivemos que dos 80 diarios analisados as categorias mais frequentes foram: intercultural, com 150 aparicoes, resultando numa media de 1,875 por diario; comunicacao com 132 aparicoes, sendo a media de 1,65 aparicoes por diario; e tecnologia com 89 aparicoes e media de 1,1125 aparicoes por diario.
