Enriquecimiento de un suelo agrícola estéril en la germinación de esporas de Bacillus thuringiensis de diverso origen de aislamiento

Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigacin fue analizar la germinacin de esporas de B. thuringiensis de diverso origen de aislamiento en un suelo agrcola estril enriquecido con diferentes concentraciones de glucosa como fuente de carbono (C), con NH4NO3 (nitrato de amonio) como fuente de N (nitrgeno) y extracto de levadura como factor de crecimiento. Para lo cual la germinacin de las esporas de Bt, se determin por pasteurizacin de suelo por el mtodo de cuenta viable en agar nutritivo. Los resultados indican que esporas de Bt-1, Bt-2 aisladas del suelo, germinaron ms que las esporas de la cepa de referencia Bt HD-1 que mostro la mayor exigencia nutricional, probablemente porque se aisl de un insecto-plaga. En contraste con las cepas Bt-1 y Bt-2 recuperadas de un suelo agrcola, respondieron positivamente a la materia orgnica de suelo, asi como al enriquecimiento con glucosa.
