Abstract
Cet article propose une réflexion théorique sur l’articulation entre les conceptions d’enseignants sur des objets de savoir d’une part, et leur agir professionnel sur ces objets, d’autre part. Nous illustrerons notre propos à travers deux études menées en France et au Québec et s’inscrivant dans le champ de l’enseignement des questions socialement vives environnementales (QSVE). La première porte sur le lien entre les représentations sociales du développement durable (DD) chez des futurs enseignants de sciences humaines et de sciences naturelles et leurs pratiques au regard de l’éducation à l’environnement et au développement durable (EEDD). La seconde s’intéresse au rapport aux savoirs d’une enseignante de sciences au regard des sciences naturelles (SN) en tant qu’objet de connaissance et en tant qu’objet d’enseignement. Afin d’enrichir notre réflexion, nous présentons une opérationnalisation originale du concept de pratiques enseignantes, dont les différentes dimensions (finalisée, technique, interactive, affective) sont mises en relation avec les concepts de représentations sociales et de rapports aux savoirs. Cette mise en perspective et réflexion théorique permet notamment d’identifier des croisements et des tensions entre les croyances et les pratiques enseignantes au regard des QSVE en référence aux approches transformatrice-sociocritique et transmissive-positiviste de l’EEDD.
