Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

As federal public school teachers, in Brazil, we aim to investigate the curricular aspects of three integrated technical courses.Specifically, we analyzed: i) the type of training that is expected to be offered to students, with regard, above all, to professional aspects; and ii) how the implementation of formative integration in integrated technical courses is oriented. Results point to a quantitative and qualitative advance in the provision of technical education in the federal network, but, at the same time, it demonstrates a lack of guiding parameters for the integration of basic, integral and propaedeutic education, with technical and professional training for the work world. One of the courses we analyzed presents some progress towards an integrative practice. In the other two, gaps were noted in this regard.Discussions on the (re) construction of a truly integrated curriculum for technical courses have taken place within the scope of federal education, and the courses have been undergoing reformulations since 2019.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
