El articulo propone un analisis de las relaciones sociales no igualitarias en la produccion participativa del conocimiento, movilizando el marco teorico de las desigualdades epistemicas. Este marco se inspira en las reflexiones de academicas y academicos feministas y decoloniales sobre los saberes y las relaciones de poder en los procesos de investigacion. El autor utiliza este marco conceptual para analizar dos espacios de dialogo y de practica en el contexto de las investigaciones participativas (IP), en las cuales ha participado como co-investigador y despues como investigador principal. Estas experiencias se pusieron en marcha en un centro de investigacion sobre las desigualdades sociales en Montreal (Quebec, Canada), donde el analisis de las relaciones de poder es crucial, situando la reflexion sobre las desigualdades epistemicas en el centro de su trabajo. Ambos espacios de reflexion y desarrollo de las IP no son modelos normativos que deban aplicarse en otros contextos; sin embargo, ofrecen observatorios de reflexion interesantes sobre las dinamicas de poder en la produccion participativa del conocimiento y permiten a su vez analizar como las desigualdades epistemicas testimoniales y hermeneuticas contribuyen a mantenerlas o aumentarlas.
