Abstract

L’écriture est un moyen par lequel toutes les personnes dépassées par un fait quelconque, d’une réalité dérangeante, ont la possibilité de s’en servir pour mettre à nu certaines tares de la société, dénoncer des injustices en rapport avec la vie quotidienne des individus de façon globale. Quant à Nelly Arcan, son projet d’écriture a une visée d’ordre psychologique et personnel, c’est-à-dire une lutte qui a pour ambition une libération de soi et ou une quête perpétuelle d’une beauté hallucinante à l’image de la Scrhtroumfett. Ainsi, pour atteindre son objectif, elle est passée par la révolte qui sous-tend une écriture crue, un style débridé, l’expression libre, le langage lascif qui dépasse l’imaginaire d’un lecteur et d’une lectrice non avertis. C’est dans ce sillage que s’inscrivent ces trois premiers romans considérés comme une trilogie, Putain[1], A ciel ouvert[2] et Folle. En effet, elle y dévoile toute sa hantise, son dégoût à l’égard des hommes, sa dislocation avec son père, le silence coupable de sa mère, la beauté artificielle et ses nombreux déboires, etc. Voilà autant de préoccupations notoires que pose la romancière québécoise dans ses productions et celles-ci ont attisé, bien évidemment notre curiosité au point de vouloir décrypter dans cet article, et ce, au fil de l’analyse, toutes les pistes possibles pour comprendre son choix d’écriture et l’entêtement qui en découle.
