Adnotacja.Jakość szkolnictwa wyższego, w szczególności kultura uczciwości akademickiej, stała się palącą kwestią dzisiejszej edukacji i nauki.W artykule wyjaśniono, że w Stanach Zjednoczonych kultura uczciwości akademickiej zajmuje główne miejsce w edukacji i nauce.Tutaj dobrze rozwinięty system zapewnienia odpowiedzialnego zachowania wszystkich uczestników procesu edukacyjno-naukowego poprzez jakościowe i skuteczne opracowanie kodeksów uczciwości akademickiej, świadczeń, działań, a także systemów prewencyjnych i sankcji.W Kanadzie kultura uczciwości akademickiej na wszystkich poziomach edukacji jest aktywnie kształtowana, jej rozwój rozpoczyna się na etapie edukacji przedszkolnej.Istnieją stałe organizacje, odbywają się coroczne konferencje, fora i tym podobne.Za podstawowe zasady zapewniające przestrzeganie norm etycznych naukowców i nauczycieli uważa się dostęp, podejście, odpowiedzialność, szczegółowość i wsparcie.
