Abstract
Aujourd’hui rassemblés au sein de l’ouvrage intitulé Le dépassement de la problématique de l’art, les écrits d’Yves Klein contiennent de véritable ekphrasis, déplaçant le traditionnel public de la galerie vers un lectorat qui continue sans cesse de s’agrandir grâce à la reproductibilité du médium textuel. Cet article proposera donc de penser les traces de ces performances comme forme de réécriture de l’œuvre d’art. En tant que tradition artistique interdisciplinaire, le médium performatif s’est tourné vers la photographie ou la vidéo comme mode de transmission. C’est pourquoi nous analyserons comment l’investissement de l’image par le texte relève d’une forme d’appropriation et de détournement, mais également d’une mise à distance critique des procédés de médiations. L’utilisation de la réécriture vient affirmer l’immatérialité de l’œuvre d’art en proposant une tout autre expérience esthétique, permettant de renouveler le rapport à l’œuvre et à son interprétation. Entre descriptif, critique et herméneutique, le texte dans le cadre de la performance atteint de multiples fonctions qui n’avaient jamais été cumulées auparavant. La démarche artistique d’Yves Klein s’avère être le projet idéal pour examiner ces problématiques dans l’optique où l’immatériel, l’invisible et le vide sont inhérent à ce qu’il propose comme expérience au public.
