Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

High quality single crystals of LaCu 2 Si 2 are successfully grown from a high temperature ternary melt. The physical properties are investigated by measurements of specific heat, electrical resistivity, thermoelectric power, and magnetization. The electrical resistivity follows an ordinary metallic behavior with a residual resistivity ρ 0 = 0.87 μΩ cm and residual resistivity ratio (RRR) ρ(300 K)/ρ 0 ∼ 13. Quantum oscillations for H || ab are clearly observed from electrical resistivity, magnetization, and thermoelectric power measurements in magnetic fields as low as 30 kOe and at temperatures as high as 20 K. In the earlier studies no quantum oscillations have been observed from both single crystal and polycrystalline samples. The small value of ρ 0 and quantum oscillations indicate a high quality of LaCu 2 Si 2 samples used in the present study. The cyclotron effective mass obtained from the analysis of the de Haas – van Alphen (dHvA) oscillations is small m 0 ∼ 0.14m e , which is consistent with the small electronic specific heat coefficient γ ∼ 3.4 mJ/mol K 2 . The detected dHvA frequencies of LaCu 2 Si 2 are compared with those of the RCu 2 Si 2 (R = Y, Th, and Ce) family.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
