Características do trabalho e desenvolvimento na carreira: as mudanças por categoria profissional

Abstract
No desenvolvimento de cada carreira profissional a percepção sobre as características do trabalho é modificada. Ou seja, o que é mais ou menos relevante para um indivíduo se adapta com o tempo dentro do seu contexto e também varia de carreira para carreira. A comparação das características do trabalho entre categorias profissionais e estágios na carreira permite o investimento nas características mais influentes (i.e. centrais em uma rede), para cada categoria em cada estágio. Estes aspectos nortearam o objetivo geral do presente estudo, que buscou descrever a mudança na centralidade de características do trabalho em função da categoria profissional (pink collar, white collar e blue collar) e estágio na carreira. Para o alcance deste objetivo, participaram desta pesquisa ao menos 300 participantes por categoria profissional da Secretaria de Educação do Distrito Federal em diferentes estágios de carreira. Como instrumentos foi utilizada a versão brasileira do WDQ de Morgeson e Humphrey (2006) adaptada por Borges-Andrade et al (2019). As variáveis de Variedade e habilidade de resolução de problema e Feedback do trabalho aparecem em todas as três categorias profissionais e em todos os estágios na carreira de forma central. Portanto, os dados obtidos possibilitaram observar uma relação estabelecida pelo contexto temporal que insere os trabalhadores com as características do trabalho levantadas, demonstrando que apesar dessas categorias possuírem suas singularidades, os trabalhadores, de maneira geral, podem valorizar, dentro de suas carreiras, atributos similares no seu ambiente organizacional.
