Abstract
في هذه الدراسة تم جمع ستين عينة من التربة الحضرية السطحية لتقدير تركيز كلا من Cd, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn and Cr وكذلك قياس بعض مؤشرات التلوث البيئي وتحديد مصادره. أظهرت النتائج أن متوسط تركيز المعادن الثقيلة المقاسة أعلى من القيم المسموح بها التي حددتها منظمة الصحة العالمية و Canadian Council of Ministers of the environment (CCME). ، بينما اظهرت نتائج مؤشرات التلوث التي تشمل مؤشر التلوث الاحادي (PI) وعامل التلوث (CF) ومؤشر درجة التلوث (Cdeg) وعامل الإثراء (EF) ومؤشر حمل التلوث (PLI) ومؤشر التراكم الجغرافي (Igeo) الي ان منطقة الدراسة إما أنها غير ملوثة أو ملوثة بدرجة متوسطة. كما اشارت الدراسة الي ان مؤشر المخاطر البيئية (SERI) ومؤشر المخاطر البيئية المحتملة (RI) يعتبر من المخاطر البيئية المعتدلة. أظهرت نتائج تحليل المكونات الرئيسية وتحليل العوامل التي تستخدم لتحديد مصادر المعادن الثقيلة في عينات التربة أن المصدر المحتمل لل Cd , Pb , Znو Cu يأتي بشكل أساسي من الأنشطة البشرية المتعلقة بالعمليات الصناعية وحركة المرور، اما عنصري Ni و Co فربما يكون المصدر المحتمل لهما المكونات الصخرية و التي لها علاقة بمواد أصل التربة ، بينما يكون مصدر كلامن Cr وCu مصادر مختلطة من المدخلات الطبيعية والبشرية المنشأ. أما عنصر Fe فيعتقد أن مصدره الأساسي هو المدخلات الجيولوجيا.
