免疫原性血栓性血小板減少性紫斑病(immune-mediated thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura: iTTP)は,von Willebrand因子切断酵素であるADAMTS13に対する自己抗体産生によって発症する極めて稀な血栓症である。2010年代前半に,ヨーロッパ系集団においてDRB1*11がiTTPの疾患感受性HLAの1つであることが報告され,その後アレル拘束性T細胞エピトープ(ADAMTS13ペプチド)の探索が進められた。一方,我々はヨーロッパ系集団と遺伝的背景が異なる日本人集団においてDRB1*08:03がiTTPの疾患感受性HLAであることを同定した。更にヨーロッパ系および日本人集団におけるiTTP疾患感受性HLA分子について,in vitro実験系であるMHC density assayを用いてアレル拘束性T細胞エピトープ候補領域を探索した。
