Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Eurointerfinish 2009 was held in Bremen on 23-24th September 2009 on topics regarding surface finishing. The Plenary lecture was given by Dr Wolfgang Hansal on 'Pulse plating for the automotive industry'. He described how pulse plating is utilized in several areas of automotive manufacture, such as the plating of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), the deposition of Cu-Sn-Pb coatings for self-lubricating parts and the plating of Ni-Teflon coatings. Professor Pietro Cavallotti discussed 'Pulse plating of metal matrix composites with diamond particles', addition of which changed the crystal structure of the nickel deposit and improved its mechanical properties. 'Pulse plating on nickel based composite coatings' was discussed by Dr E. A. Pavlatou, who dedicated her presentation to the late Nicolas Spyrellis. Dr Selma Hansal described the variety of applications for Ag and Ag-Sn alloy in a presentation titled 'Pulse plating of silver and silver alloys'. 'Electrochemical planarisation of bio-implantable Ti alloys' was described by Dr Lakshman Neelakantan.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
