Abstract
À partir d’une recension des 217 thèses de doctorat répertoriées dans la banque Proquest, présentation du corpus selon les champs disciplinaires, évolution de 1995 à 2006. Présentation et analyse selon les différentes traditions en recherche qualitative et répertoire de l’instrumentation privilégiée. Puis, à partir d’un ensemble de 27 thèses, présentation de différents instruments de collecte de données nouveaux, originaux ou qui mériteraient d’être connus, utilisés et critiqués afin d’estimer la qualité des données qu’ils permettent de recueillir. Limites de la banque Proquest et proposition de développement du domaine.
