O gasto público com gestante: um estudo no município de Vacaria/RS

Abstract
RESUMOOs gastos públicos com saúde devem ser analisados com mais rigor, para seu melhor desempenho.Logo se buscou identificar os custos que o município de Vacaria/RS tem com as suas gestantes que utilizam o Serviço Público de Saúde -SUS, desde o diagnóstico da gravidez até a assistência após o parto.Para dar sustentação científica buscou-se fundamentação na Constituição Federal/88, no artigo 196 que estabelece: "a saúde é direito de todos e dever do Estado, garantindo mediante políticas sociais e econômicas que visem à redução do risco de doença e de outros agravos e ao acesso universal e igualitário às ações e aos serviços para sua promoção, proteção e recuperação".Considerando-se os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados, a pesquisa pode ser caracterizada como descritiva, de procedimento documental e com abordagem quantitativa.A amostra foi realizada durante o período de outubro de 2012 a março de 2013 para o município e comparados com a Unidade SOBOPA de Vacaria, RS.Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que o município durante o período em análise, acompanhou 249 gestantes, gerando um custo de R$ 44.989,32, que correspondeu a 0,44% do orçamento municipal destinada à saúde do período de R$ 10.325.828,58,ou seja, um custo médio por gestante no município de R$ 180,68.Em relação à Unidade SOBOPA constatou-se o acompanhamento de 45 gestantes com um custo no período de outubro de 2012 a março de 2013 em R$ 12.071,05 correspondente há 0,12% do orçamento, ou seja, um custo médio de R$ 268,25, percebendo-se assim, que as 45 gestantes desta Unidade demandaram exames e procedimentos adicionais.
