Œuvre d’un grand admirateur de la matière de France, le Guerrin Meschino fut traduit en français par Jean de Rochemeure dans la seconde moitié du XVe siecle. Cette traduction, dont il est difficile de reconnaître avec précision le modèle italien, est conservée dans deux manuscrits autographes (Cambridge, Fitzwilliam Musem, mss. 25 et 26), qui nous révèlent la technique du traducteur...
