Abstract
Le voyage est la mode. Sminaires, colloques et travaux universitaires font cho au succs en librairie des rcits et beaux livres sur le voyage 1 . Dans cette production, les femmes sont loin d'tre absentes ; la vie et les exploits des aventurires, des exploratrices, des pionnires en tout genre font dornavant l'objet de rcits qui peuvent faire rver les femmes comme les hommes dans notre re de mondialisation 2 . Sans remettre en cause l'intrt des approches centres sur les rcits de voyage et les premiers exploits, ce numro a t conu avec d'autres ambitions. En effet, les travaux sur le voyage ont longtemps t le domaine des littraires qui se sont attachs la nature et au statut des crits, aux dispositifs d'nonciation de l'entreprise viatique, aux effets initiatiques et identitaires de la rencontre avec l'Autre et l'Ailleurs 3 .
