Abstract
The biennial CSEB National Student Conference is a Canadian conference for students by students. The hosting university changes every year, and the conference attracts highly motivated graduate students in the fields of epidemiology and biostatistics to disseminate their current research methods and findings. The conference provides a platform for professional development and an avenue to network with colleagues and more experienced researchers. This year, the conference is being held at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and it will bring together approximately 110 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in general and health sciences, psychology, mathematics and statistics, health geography, and other related fields of study. All abstract submissions underwent double-blind review before the conference. The abstracts published here received high scores by abstract judges.
