Dans toute recherche où il y a prise en compte du point de vue de l’acteur, le chercheur est amené à se questionner sur l’articulation des catégories issues du discours de l’acteur aux catégories savantes qu’il utilise ou développe lui-même. Sur le plan épistémologique, plusieurs postures sont possibles en ce qui concerne le statut accordé à la parole des acteurs dans la démarche de recherche. Par conséquent, sur le plan méthodologique, la façon de solliciter, d’interpréter et de présenter cette parole peut également varier. Le but de cet article est d’illustrer, à partir d’une recherche menée dans le champ de la formation à l’enseignement, comment la construction du sens de l’expérience d’apprentissage chez des stagiaires s’est effectuée et d’explorer des variations possibles quant à la place accordée à la voix du chercheur et à celle des participants à différentes étapes de la démarche de recherche.
