Abstract
Contexte : Si tous s'entendent pour dire qu'il est important que les infirmiers soient comptents dans l'exercice de leurs fonctions, peu d'instruments de mesure valides et fiables existent en franais afin d'valuer ces comptences. Un des outils utiliss frquemment est le Nurse Competence Scale, dvelopp par Meretoja et al. (2004). Dvelopp en finlandais, l'outil a t traduit en anglais, italien, norvgien, persan, lithuanien, allemand et sudois (Flinkman et al., 2017). Une version franaise valide permettrait d'effectuer des tudes et comparer les rsultats avec d'autres tudes internationales.
