Abstract
The Faculty of Forestry has a century-long history of excellence in forest related education and research. The faculty is well known for its innovative and diverse degree programs and cutting edge research in areas ranging from forest management and climate change, social, economical and equity issues, to green bioproducts and bioenergy. It also houses a new state-of-the-art Centre for Biocomposites and Bioprocessing facility that supports the green bioproducts research and education. As well, the Faculty has a research collaborative agreement with Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve Limited, a 30,000 ha forest. The Faculty of Forestry offers two research-stream graduate programs -Ph.D. and M.Sc.F. and participates in collaborative research-stream programs in environmental studies with the Centre for Environment. All students who are accepted into these research-stream programs are guaranteed minimum funding support. The Faculty also offers a unique 16-month professional graduate program -Master of Forest Conservation (M.F.C.), which focuses strongly on forest conservation.Graduates from the MFC are playing leading roles in forest conservation in Canada as well as globally.Funding is available to professional stream students on a competitive basis. In addition to the graduate programs, the Faculty of Forestry, in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and Science, offers Specialist, Major, and Minor options within a bachelor's program (B.Sc. in Forest Conservation Science or Forest Biomaterials Science and B.A. in Forest Conservation). The B.Sc. focuses primarily on forest ecology, biodiversity, sustainable forest products and conservation biology while the B.A. focuses on social and economic aspects of forest conservation.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
