Abstract
Οι υπηρεσίες αποτελούν ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι της σημερινής οικονομικής δραστηριότητας στις περισσότερες δυτικές οικονομίες και προσφέρουν ιδιαίτερες ευκαιρίες για υψηλή κερδοφορία. Για τον λόγο αυτό πολλοί ερευνητές εστιάζουν στο μάρκετινγκ των υπηρεσιών. Η παρούσα διατριβή επεκτείνει την παρούσα γνώση αναφορικά με την επίδραση του περιβάλλοντα χώρου παροχή υπηρεσίας και στις δύο πλευρές του συστήματος διεπαφής (πελάτες και εργαζόμενοι). Το προτεινόμενο πολυεπίπεδο μοντέλο περιγράφει αναλυτικά τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ο δημιουργημένος περιβάλλων χώρος οδηγεί την νόηση, τα συναισθήματα και τις συμπεριφορές των ατόμων. Η έρευνα αυτή αρχικά ρίχνει φως στην ανεξερεύνητη πλευρά των εργαζομένων εξετάζοντας την επίδραση του χώρου εργασίας σε αυτούς. Δεύτερο, είναι η πρώτη έρευνα που παρουσιάζει ένα πολυεπίπεδο πλαίσιο που συγκεντρώνει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ο περιβάλλον χώρος επηρεάζει την αλληλεπίδραση των δύο πλευρών. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα, μεταβλητές αλληλεπίδρασης όπως η συμπάθεια και η ποιότητα αλληλεπίδρασης επηρεάζουν σημαντικά την ικανοποίηση με την διάδραση. Τρίτος, οι προτεινόμενες ερευνητικές υποθέσεις επηρεάζονται από χαρακτηριστικά της προσωπικότητας που επεκτείνουν τις παρούσες γνώσεις μας. Τέταρτον, όλες οι υποθέσεις εξετάστηκαν σε δύο κλάδους (ηδονικό και χρηστικό) προκειμένου να εξεταστεί ο ρόλος του κλάδου σε σχέση με την βιβλιογραφία. Επιπλέον της αναμενόμενης συνεισφοράς στην βιβλιογραφία, αυτή η διατριβή έχει σημαντικές προτάσεις για τους μάνατζερς αναφορικά με το πώς μπορούν να μεταβάλλουν τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο για να πετύχουν επιθυμητά αποτελέσματα στους πελάτες και τους εργαζόμενους.
