Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The aims of this conceptual study are to critically examine current conceptual understanding in environmental gerontology and to take a step further towards a more complex, comprehensive and integrative understanding or person-environment (p-e) exchange processes in later life. We attempt to achieve this goal in three levels. First, we review notable models and important developments in the field during the last decades, but particularly with respect to the conceptual framework on processes of agency and belonging in person-environment interaction (e.g., Wahl et al., 2012). Second, informed by the earlier review, we move forward towards conceptual optimization or specification with particular emphasis on the processes of p-e exchange, outcomes of these processes, and consideration of time. The proposed conceptual framework is illustrated with real life scenarios of older adults living in the community and in institutional care settings. Finally, we identify ongoing conceptual challenges and future directions.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
