172 Secukinumab 150 mg provides sustained improvements in the signs and symptoms of active ankylosing spondylitis with high retention rate: three-year results from Phase 3 trial, MEASURE 2
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Background: Secukinumab improved signs and symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) over two years in the MEASURE 2 study (NCT01649375). Here, we report three-year results on the efficacy and safety of secukinumab from the MEASURE 2 study. Methods: 219 patients with active AS were randomised to subcutaneous secukinumab 150 mg (72 patients), 75 mg (73 patients) or placebo (74 patients). At Week 16, placebo-treated patients were re-randomised 1:1 to secukinumab 150 mg or 75 mg, irrespective of clinical response. Patients initially randomised to secukinumab and those who switched from placebo to secukinumab at week 16 were included in the analysis (secukinumab 150 mg, n = 106 and secukinumab 75 mg, n = 105). Outcome measures at week 156 included Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society criteria (ASAS) 20, ASAS 40, Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score-C-reactive protein (ASDAS-CRP) inactive disease, ASAS 5/6, Bath AS Disease Activity Index, Short Form-36 Physical Component Summary and ASAS partial remission responses. Data are reported as observed. Safety analyses included all patients who received ≥1 dose of secukinumab.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
