A ultrassonografia pulmonar (USP) trata-se de um método ágil para o diagnóstico de pneumonia, sendo útil na alta demanda dos exames por imagem pulmonar gerada pela pandemia causada pelo novo coronavírus (COVID-19). Diante disso, o principal objetivo desta revisão é discorrer acerca da importância da ultrassonografia de tórax para diagnóstico de pacientes com Covid-19 presentes na literatura. A metodologia adotada para elaborar a pesquisa foi de revisão bibliográfica que busca sintetizar as principais informações dentro da temática abordada nas bases de dados como SciElo, Pubmed e Lilacs. Por meio das análises realizadas nos estudos, pode-se concluir que a Ultrassonografia de tórax é um excelente método para detectar o comprometimento pulmonar em pacientes com COVID-19 e pode ser útil nesse diagnóstico.
