Abstract
Kültürel değerleriyle hazine konumunda olan Türk milleti, geçmişten günümüze sözlü ve yazılı edebiyatıyla geleneğini aktarmayı başarmış bir millettir. Bu gelenek içerisinde yüzyılların tarihi, edebiyatı, inanışı, dili, dini, töresi, felsefesi vb.’leri sembolik ve mitolojik ögelerle harmanlanarak halk anlatılarında yaşatılmaya devam etmektedir. Türk milletinin kadim dönemlerden günümüze sembolik unsurlarla anlam vererek taşıdığı pek çok anlatı türünden biri de menkıbelerdir. Menkıbe; velilerin kerametlerinin nesir hâlinde anlatıldığı ürünlerdir. Bu anlatılarda olağanüstü kahramanlar, hayvanlar, olaylar, zaman ve mekân çeşitli zenginlikleriyle anlam bulmaktadır. Halk arasında sembolik unsurlarla şekillenerek günümüze gelen bu menkıbeler, Türk milletinin kültürel belleğinin bir yansıması olarak metinleşmiştir. Olağanüstü özellikler taşıyan menkıbelerde sembolik değerlerin zenginliği dikkati çekerken bu zenginliklerden anlam alanı oldukça geniş olan renkler de Türk milletinin kolektif bilinç dışını yansıtmaktadır. Zira renkler, görünen değerlerinden daha fazla anlam alanına gönderme yapmaktadır. Çalışmamızda Alevi-Bektaşi menkıbelerinden hareketle renkler üzerine sinen örtük anlamlar sembolik değerleriyle irdelenerek Türk milletinin kolektif ruhu özümsenecek ve görünmeyenin ardındakiler gün yüzüne çıkartılmaya çalışılacaktır.
