A Escola Pública e a Educação de Jovens e Adultos: o que diz a Política em Contexto de Texto Sobre essa Modalidade

Abstract
O artigo tem por objetivo compreender como a escola pública vem acolhendo a EJA em suas múltiplas dimensões. Para esta compreensão se fez necessário tratar com documentos que orientam a referida modalidade no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, na relação específica com uma escola que abriga esse público. Dentre os documentos, destacamos o Documento Curricular do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (DCRN) e o Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP) da escola no município de Assú/RN. Os documentos foram interpretados a partir de Arendt (2014), Mainardes (2006), Santos (2002), Laval (2004) e outros. Percebemos alguns pontos importantes durante o estudo: a EJA pode se configurar como espaço de natalidade da condição humana e seus documentos orientadores continuam se estruturando necessariamente na função reparadora. Concluímos, realçando a necessidade de reformulação nos documentos oficiais para instituir a função qualificadora e formadora, mesmo que no cotidiano já venha acontecendo como prática emancipatória.
