Abstract
Angka kematian dikarenakan kanker leher Rahim cukup tinggi yaitu 20-25 kematian/hari. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Sekolah Perempuan Desa Sumberjo Kecamatan Bumiaji Kota Batu dengan jumlah sasaran sebanyak 30 orang ibu. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan dua tahapan yaitu: tahap pertama memberikan edukasi dalam bentuk pelatihan pada anggota Sekolah Perempuan Desa tentang kanker leher Rahim, tahap kedua memberikan keterampilan tentang pembuatan makanan pencegah kanker. Sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan sasaran diberikan kuesioner pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest didapatkan 70% tidak paham, 23.3% paham dan 6.7% sangat paham,Setelah diberikan edukasi 16.7% paham dan 83.3% sangat paham. Hasil tindakan preventif dihasilkan 6 menu sehat yang diolah dari bahan dasar sayur dan buah-buahan yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat. Pemberdayaan perempuan melalui edukatif tentang kanker leher ramih dirasakan sangat bermanfaat. Kegiatan preventif edukatif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman perempuan desa dan perilaku hidup sehat terutama dalam hal konsumsi makanan dalam upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya kesakitan dan kematian akibat kanker leher Rahim.
