Identificando concepções de identidade docente da educação infantil em um contexto de pesquisa.

Abstract
O texto apresenta o resultado de uma pesquisa de doutorado, realizada na Puc Campinas. O objeto da pesquisa foi a identidade docente, temática inserida no contexto da educação infantil, com ênfase na discussão acerca das tensões presentes nesse segmento educacional originadas das concepções de pertencimento a categoria docente, em especial, as concepções que dizem respeito a compreensão da função docente desta etapa educativa relacionada as compreensões externas a esse contexto. Compreender essas concepções nos possibilitou a elaboração do seguinte problema de investigação: em que medida as concepções externas acerca do papel da Educação Infantil e da função de seus professores têm impactado esses profissionais em seu sentimento de pertença à categoria profissional docente? Os instrumentos utilizados para compor o material empírico, que tinham como objetivo entender esse problemática, foram questionário e entrevista semiestruturada, sendo que o questionário foi realizado com pais de alunos matriculados em unidades escolares da educação infantil – creche e pré-escola -, e as entrevistas semiestruturadas com professores e diretoras desta etapa educativa e também com secretária de Educação do município escolhido para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa. A análise dos materiais revelou que a busca por reconhecimento profissional tem vinculação com o significado que os professores atribuem a sua função e condicionada à significação que a sociedade atribui à função docente.
