Introduction Die chronische Rhinosinusitis mit nasalen Polypen (CRSwNP) ist eine Erkrankung der Nasen- und Nasennebenhöhlen welcher oftmals eine Typ-2-Inflammation zugrunde liegt. Jüngste Publikationen beschreiben Algorithmen zur Identifikation einer Typ-2-Inflammation bei CRSwNP ohne Gewebsanalyse. Diese Algorithmen wurden für die Einschätzung der Prävalenz einer Typ-2-Inflammation bei Patienten mit schwerer CRSwNP aus zwei Phase 3 Studien (SINUS-24/SINUS-52 [NCT02912468/NCT02898454]) verwendet.
