Makalah ini memaparkan hasil penelitian pengembangan purwarupa alat komunikasi teks dan monitoring data pasien di rumah sakit. Rumah sakit merupakan salah satu fasilitas Kesehatan dimana terdapat peralatan yang mempunya interferensi elektromagnetik (EMI) tingkat tinggi yang menjadi sangat sensitif terhadap gangguan elektromagnetik. Pada penelitian ini penulis membuat sistem purwarupa alat komunikasi dan monitoring berbasis teknologi LI FI (Light Fidelity) unutk mengurangi gangguan gelombang elektromagnetik pada alat medis. Li Fi bekerja mengirimkan data melalui media transmisi cahaya yang merupakan salah satu spektrum gelombang magnetic yang tidak berbahaya. Purwarupa alat ini menggunakan sensor MAX30100 sebagai sensor oximetry, sensor suhu MLX90614, sensor heart rate dan sensor SpO2. Purwarupa juga dilengkapi fitur pengiriman pesan teks yang berjalan dua arah. Hasil uji coba memperlihatkan purwarupa dapat bekerja dengan baik sesuai disain.
