Subgraphs of Kneser graphs with large girth and large chromatic number
Bibliographic record
Abstract
It is well known that for any integers k and g, there is a graph with chromatic number at least k and girth at least g. In 1960s, Erdős and Hajnal conjectured that for any k and g, there exists a number h(k,g), such that every graph with chromatic number at least h(k,g) contains a subgraph with chromatic number at least k and girth at least g. The Erdős-Hajnal Conjecture has been recently proposed in the setting of the fractional chromatic number. In support of the original and the modified conjecture, we prove that every Kneser graph, whose chromatic number is sufficiently large, contains a subgraph of large girth, whose (fractional) chromatic number is large.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
